Scan your store for missing descriptions

Describer Home & store overview

Use Scan My Store to count products with no description, a short one or a solid one.

The first time you open Home, Store Overview shows Ready to scan your store? Click Scan My Store to start.

What the scan does

  • Reads your products in batches and shows Scanned X products out of Y with an estimated time remaining
  • Counts the words in each product description (HTML removed)
  • Sorts every product into no description, short description or solid description
  • Calculates your Description coverage percentage

Good to know

The scan only reads your catalog. It does not change products and does not use credits. Large catalogs take longer; you can leave the page open while it runs. Click Refresh Report later to rescan after a task.
