Why was my new draft product skipped?
If the task has Only process published products on, new drafts are skipped by auto-processing. Run a task on them once they are published.

Auto-processing applies the task's filters. With Only process published products on, a product created as a draft does not pass the filter.
Publishing it later does not trigger auto-processing, because it only reacts when a product is created. Describe it with a task on Specific Products.
