Can it ignore my old description?
Yes. Turn off Consider the current description in Data Considerations. Describer then writes from the title, tags, product type, vendor and images.

Yes. In Settings, open Data Considerations and turn off Consider the current description.
Use this when old text is wrong or belongs to another product. Keep it on when the copy contains real facts, such as sizes or materials, that you want kept.
