Image-aware descriptions: what Describer can see in your photos and its limits.
Describer sends up to 5 of a product's images to the AI with the rest of the product data. Images are resized to a small preview before sending, which is enough to see the product but not fine print.
What images help with
- Colors, shapes and visible style
- How the product is used or worn
- Visible parts, such as a strap, lid or pocket
Limits
- The images are a sample, not every photo, and Describer does not describe each image one by one
- Small text on labels may not be readable
- Images never replace facts: materials, sizes and care rules should be in your product data
Products without images can still get a description from their text data. The task Summary shows Products Without Images before you submit.
