How long does a bulk task take?
It depends on how many products the task covers. Products are written one after another, and History shows the progress while it runs.

Describer writes products one after another, so a task on a few products finishes quickly and a task on a large catalog takes longer.
You can close the app while it runs. Follow the Progress column in History, and you get an email when it ends if notifications are on.
