Consider product title

Use the product title as a source for the new description, or leave it out.

Consider product title in the Data Considerations card is on by default. It lets Describer use the product title as a source for the new description.

Keep it on in most cases

The title usually names the product type, the material or the model, which are the most important facts for the description. Describer will not repeat the title as the first line of the description.

When to turn it off

  • Your titles are internal codes or SKUs that mean nothing to shoppers
  • Your titles contain words you do not want repeated in the copy

With the title off, make sure the current description, tags or images carry enough information, because Describer only writes from the data it receives.
