Describer Languages

Describer writes your main product description in one language at a time.

Describer saves one description per product: the main description field in Shopify. It writes that description in the writing language chosen in Settings.

If your store sells in several languages

  • Set the writing language in Describer to your store's default language
  • Translations of your product pages are managed in Shopify, for example with Shopify's translation tools or a translation app, which translate from the main description
  • Describer does not write the translated versions of a product page itself

Running a second language

Changing the language and running another task replaces the main description. Only do this if you want the main description itself in the new language.
