Switch the writing language and rewrite existing descriptions in a new language.
To move your catalog to another language, for example from English to Spanish:
- In Settings, set Language to the new language and save
- Create a New Task on All the Products or a collection
- Turn on Replace existing descriptions so products with long descriptions are rewritten too
- Turn off Skip previously processed products if earlier tasks already covered these products
- Write keywords in Include these words in the new language
Keep facts, change language
With Consider the current description on, Describer reads your existing copy and keeps its specific facts in the new language. This is a rewrite, not a word-for-word translation, and the old text is replaced on the product.
