Describer Scheduling

Choose 1, 3, 6 or 12 runs for a recurring task.

Number of repetitions sets how many times a recurring task runs in total. The options are 1 time, 3 times, 6 times and 12 times.

Examples

  • Monthly on the 1st, 12 times: one run at the start of every month for a year
  • Weekly on Monday, 6 times: six weekly runs
  • Quarterly, 3 times: three runs, three months apart

The first scheduled run counts as one of the repetitions. When all runs are done, the automation shows All runs completed and the status Finished in the Scheduled Task Automations card. To keep going, create a new recurring task.
