Describer Scheduling

How each recurrence pattern works, including months with fewer days.

The Recurrence pattern menu offers three options.

  • Weekly - Repeat on a specific day each week: choose the Day of week, from Sunday to Saturday
  • Monthly - Repeat on a specific day each month: enter a Day of month between 1 and 31. In months with fewer days, Describer uses the last day of the month
  • Quarterly - Repeat every three months

Validation

A weekly pattern needs a day (Please select a day of the week for your recurring task). A monthly pattern needs a valid day (Please enter a valid day of the month (1-31)).

In History, the pattern appears as, for example, Weekly on Monday, Monthly on the 1 or Every 3 months.
