Run a task now or later

Describer Scheduling

Choose Add to queue now or Schedule this task to run later on the review step.

The Scheduling Options card on Review and Submit decides when your task starts.

Add to queue now

The default. The task is added to the processing queue and runs in the background. Tasks you start now begin shortly; if another task is running, the next one waits until it finishes.

Schedule this task to run later

Pick a date and time. The task appears in History as Scheduled and moves into the queue at that time. This is useful to run a large catalog overnight, or to time new descriptions with a product launch or the start of a month.

Either way, you can close the app after submitting. With email notifications on, you hear back when the task is done.
