When Describer adds bullet lists, and how the output is formatted in Shopify.
Describer saves descriptions as HTML using paragraphs (<p>), bullet lists (<ul> and <li>), bold text and line breaks. It never adds a main heading, so your theme's product title stays the only page title.
When lists appear
- Lengths 1 to 3: paragraphs only in most cases
- Length 4: a short feature list when the product supports it
- Lengths 5 and 6: a feature list is part of the target
- Length 7: long copy, often with a list
- Minimalist tone: no list unless the product truly needs one
To control the structure further, add a custom instruction such as Finish with a bullet list of three key features.
