Write your first product descriptions

Describer Getting started

A quick walkthrough from New Task to finished descriptions on your product pages.

This walkthrough writes descriptions for a handful of products so you can see Describer's output.

  • Click New Task (or Create a new task now on Home)
  • On Let's Get Started, choose Specific Products
  • Search and select a few products, then click Save and continue
  • On Configure Product Settings, turn on Replace existing descriptions if these products already have long descriptions you want rewritten
  • On Configure the description, keep Description length at 3 for a standard description
  • On Review and Submit, name the task, keep Add to queue now, and click Submit Task

Open History, then View details on the task to read each new description under Processed Products & Results, with an Edit in Shopify link for every product.
