Will it overwrite my good descriptions?
Not by default. Products with 60 words or more are skipped unless you turn on Replace existing descriptions in the task settings.

Not by default. Describer leaves any product with 60 words or more alone, and only writes products with no description or a short one.
Turn on Replace existing descriptions only when you want long descriptions rewritten too. Describer keeps no backup of the old text.
