New products are described with the same filters and description settings as the task.
Auto-processing reuses everything you set in the task, so think of the task as a rule for future products.
What is reused
- Only process published products and Only process active products
- The vendor name filter
- Replace existing descriptions: when off, a new product that already arrives with 60 words or more is left alone
- Description length, Custom instructions and Words to use or avoid
Watch the draft products
Many merchants create products as drafts and publish them later. If the task keeps Only process published products and Only process active products on, a product created as a draft is skipped. Create a separate auto-processing task with both filters off if you want descriptions ready before launch.
