Filter description tasks by vendor

Describer Bulk tasks

Limit a task to one brand or supplier with the vendor name field.

On Configure Product Settings, the field Only update products with this vendor name: narrows a task to products whose vendor matches the name you type.

Typical uses

  • Multi-brand stores that want brand-specific instructions or keywords per task
  • Rolling out new descriptions supplier by supplier
  • Keeping a store-wide task away from test or placeholder vendors

Tips

Type the vendor exactly as it appears on your products in Shopify admin. Leave the field empty to include every vendor. Products from other vendors are skipped and use no credits.
