Resume a waiting task

Describer History

Continue a task that stopped for lack of credits, without losing its progress.

A task gets the status Waiting (progress: Waiting for credits) when your store had no credits left as the task started. It is not a failure: nothing was charged.

How to resume

  • Get credits: wait for your monthly Free plan credits, or redeem a gift code on Plans
  • In History, open the task's actions menu and choose Resume task
  • Describer confirms Task resumed; the task returns to Pending and keeps its progress

With email notifications on, you also receive an email when a task starts waiting, so you know to come back. If a task stays Waiting even though Plans shows available credits, contact support with the task ID.
