Cancel or delete a task

Describer History

Stop a pending or running task, or remove a task from the History list.

Cancel task

Available for Pending and Processing tasks. Confirm with Cancel task; this action cannot be undone. Descriptions already saved before you cancelled stay on the products. You can later use Retry task to run it again from the beginning.

Delete task

Available for every task. Confirm with Delete to remove it from the Tasks History list. Deleting a task does not change any product descriptions.

Recurring tasks

Cancelling or deleting a task from the main list keeps its recurring schedule. To stop future runs, use Cancel recurring task in the Scheduled Task Automations card. To stop automatic descriptions for new products, use Disable Auto-Update.
