Describer does not keep backups. Here is how to protect and restore your copy.
When Describer saves a description, it replaces the old one on the product. Describer does not keep a copy of the previous text, so there is no undo button.
Before a large task
- Export your products from Shopify admin as a CSV file to keep a copy of the current descriptions
- Test on a few Specific Products first
- Keep Replace existing descriptions off unless you want long descriptions rewritten
To restore a description
- Open the product with Edit in Shopify from the task details and paste your saved text
- Or import the CSV you exported before the task
To improve instead of restore
Change the length, tone or custom instructions and run a new task on the product, with Replace existing descriptions on and Skip previously processed products off.
